Present and Accounted For

If I’m not right here and now, where am I? Lost and wandering. Dreaming. Imagining a moment that has never existed and will never exist.

This moment is all there is, and, as such, is perfectly enough.

When I settle into this moment, I discover the fullness of it, the ease, the satisfaction.

When I release the burden of past and future, I land here softly and sweetly, and know there’s no better or other place to land.

And so, I ask myself to navigate this day firmly rooted in this moment and greet each new one. Moment by sweet moment, may I weave this day together fully present and accounted for.
